Why I Left Children’s HopeChest
I’ve not spoken publicly about my departure as CEO from Children’s HopeChest. Some of the best years of my life were spent at that ministry. It’s where I met many of you and where I wrote most of my books: Fields of the Fatherless, Red Letters, and two novels – Scared and Priceless.
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday I am especially thoughtful of my HopeChest family – I’m so grateful for almost 14 years there – for every single orphan, every staff member, and for each of you who have touched my life. There are many reasons why I left that I discuss in this video and I would feel honored if you would take a moment to watch and reconnect with me. This video is not being released publicly.
